RMA Price Discovery Tool - This is a link to an estimate as well as the final approved prices for both base and harvest prices for different commodities.

Spring Wheat, Durum, and Khorasan - Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGE) for All States and Counties.

Base Price (MGE) - It is the projected harvest price set during the month of February for the current harvest year.  It is set using the simple average of the daily settlement prices for the MGE September hard red spring wheat futures contract rounded to the nearest whole cent. This Projected Price will be released as an actuarial document addendum by March 5 of the harvest year.  This price will be posted here when it comes in..

Harvest Price (MGE) - It is optional and has to be elected on the policy.  If elected it is based on the August harvest year’s average daily settlement price for the MGE September hard red spring wheat futures contract rounded to the nearest whole cent. The Harvest Price will be released as an actuarial document addendum by September 5 of the harvest year. Price limitations are changed for crop year 2009.  For 2009 The Harvest Price can be less than the Base Price without limitation, but will not be greater than 200% of the Base Price.  This price will be posted here when it comes in.

Winter Wheat -  Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBOT) for the states of Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and South Dakota.

Base Price (KCBOT) -It is the projected harvest price set using the time period from  August 15 to September 14 of the current year for the following years crop.  It is set using the KCBOT July contract average daily settlement price for the hard red winter wheat futures contract rounded to the nearest whole cent. This Projected Harvest Price (Base Price)  will be released as an actuarial document addendum by September 20 of the pre-harvest year.  This price came in at $8.77.

Harvest Price (KCBOT) - It is optional and has to be elected on the policy.  If elected it is based on the period from July 1 to July 14 of the harvest year’s average daily settlement price for the  KCBOT July hard red winter wheat futures contract rounded to the nearest whole cent. The Harvest Price will be released as an actuarial document addendum by August 20 of the harvest yearPrice limitations are changed for crop year 2009.  For 2009 The Harvest Price can be less than the Base Price without limitation, but will not be greater than 200% of the Base Price.  This price will be posted here when it comes in.
